My prior experience with technology is pretty extensive. I always had a computer since I was very little and played cereal box games on it like putt putt saves the zoo. Since Then I have dabbled with Windows operating systems from windows 98 to the golden age of windows XP. I became very familiar with the PC operating system and I know my way around word and how to search for files and run EXEs. I am at the point with technology where I can figure it out if I do enough googling on the subject.
I don't have much experience with Excel so in this class I want to learn how to use Excel without guessing how everything works. I also want to learn about some of the newest learning technologies that are out there, so I can be a better teacher. I also want to learn how to do basic web page design so I can make my own creative projects.
I agree with my learner profile I always have had to know the big picture of many concepts before I can make sense of the details. I also agree with the sense that I am a very intuitive learner more geared for lecture style classes I do find myself more engaged in my lecture style classes as well. I can't help but also agree with the fact that I'm very visual learner as the test tells me I do remember things upon recall as a picture of what I'm trying to think of instead of text or an audio Que.
