The flipped classroom is a new concept where the students go over the learning materials, and resources before class and then come to class prepared to discuss what they understood or didn't about the content. With this approach, it allows more time for the teacher to instruct students because class time isn't being expended to teach the assignment. Also with expanding class sizes, it allows the students to ask the questions that they don't know individually and the teacher can accommodate class time to do so because they didn't have to spend class time going over it. This process is all a part of making learners more active in teaching themselves the content. Open education is a revolutionary movement to make high-quality educational resources open for students and educators to interact with, in an accessible and malleable manner. Open not only means "free" but it also means that educators can edit the textbook and even make it possible for students to make their own textbook, furthering the student's leading their learning notion literally. In the context of a flipped classroom, it would interesting to see an open resource textbook that the teacher kept open for students to edit before class with questions, comments, etc. Then have the class discussion around what was written in the textbook that day by the teacher who will clarify the content. I thought the two Powerpoint assignments were really constructive despite how grueling they were. It was frustrating at times to get hyper-links confused in navigation, and this also added to the amount of time it took to complete the powerpoint. I did, however, find it rewarding to see my powerpoint complete and with this knowledge, I am seriously considering making my own click-through adventure for my dungeon and dragon group as a tool for dungeon diving. The two screenshots from my presentations are very similar despite the title screen text, this is because the second presentation is a continuation of the first one. I updated the first one with a few better images and fixed hyperlinks, as well as adding 3 more questions. Also, I was aware that I didn't disable linear navigation in my first presentation, so it was particularly gratifying to have one complete presentation that works correctly for the second assignment.
